where have I been?
Fellow cupcake eaters I promise to never (and I mean never) stay away this long. After a very hectic holiday season, the shop is settling down just in time for Valentine’s Day :-) One of my very favorite holidays. On the stress meter it ranks up there with New Year’s Eve for me but more on that in another blog.
To catch you up - there’s so much it’s hard but it pales in comparison to our “Have a Heart for Haiti” campaign. JC raised $450 for the Red Cross with the sale of our red velvet cupcakes. We donated 100% of the proceeds from the sale.
Other than that we’ve been baking cupcakes, experimenting with new flavors and now offer even more! We have a terrific Italian Meringue that we are using on the mocha java that is unreal. We’ll be announcing other new flavors next week and all of Valentine’s Day Specials, so stay tuned. Also, I do have a one-day position opening for someone that is willing to wear a cupid costume on Valentine’s Day to help with deliveries. It could turn out to be more, St. Patrick’s is coming up ;-) Know of anyone? Stay sweet and come see us!
